RecallMastery is an independent publisher of USMLE practice material. This page says what we sell, who is behind it, how the files are made, what we cannot promise, and where to send corrections.
What we sell
PDF question files for USMLE Step 1, Step 2 CK and Step 3, NBME shelf exams, and CBSE and CCSE sets, plus high-yield notes and a free sample pack. Files are digital downloads delivered after payment. The exact contents and access period are listed on each product page. Please read our shipping and delivery policy and refund policy before you buy.
What we are not
We are not affiliated with USMLE, NBME or FSMB, and they do not review, approve or endorse our files. We do not guarantee a score, a pass or any other outcome. Our Step packs are not a recall dump; our shelf packs are compiled from student reports and are closer to a recall file.

How the files are made
- After an exam window, recent test-takers send us what they met — systems, concepts, case types, question style.
- We keep the pattern and discard the raw report. The report is never resold.
- Our writers build new questions and explanations around that pattern.
- Our student team, led by Derek Nicolas, checks accuracy, the answer key and distractor logic.
- The file is versioned and dated. Every change goes in the changelog.
Shelf packs use steps 4 and 5 only: the student report is cleaned up, answered and checked rather than rewritten. How our recalls are made →

What USMLE says
USMLE’s published rules say that if there is evidence a candidate used a test preparation program or service that distributes, provides access to, or uses USMLE content (questions or answers), the candidate’s registration and testing may be canceled, scores may be withheld or canceled, and further sanctions may apply. USMLE decides what counts, not us. Read the rule on USMLE’s security page (accessed 4 November 2026) before you decide whether to buy.
What we cannot promise
We cannot promise how USMLE will treat any particular resource or candidate, and we do not promise a score improvement. Nothing on this site is legal advice.
Updates and corrections
Files are versioned and dated, and every change goes in the changelog on the method page (version v1 started on 4 November 2026). If a fact on this page is wrong, such as a fee, a date or a claim, email [email protected] with the page and what is wrong. We fix it and note the change.
